Mark Sanchez will back up Mike Glennon in Chicago

The Chicago Bears agreed to terms with quarterback Mark Sanchez, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys, as the backup to Mike Glennon.

What It Means:

After failing to win the Denver Broncos starting quarterback job last season, Sanchez signed with Dallas, but made just 18 pass attempts as the backup to rookie Dak Prescott. He'll now settle in as Mike Glennon's replacement in Chicago.

Among the 46 quarterbacks to attempt at least 100 passes in 2015, Sanchez ranked 41st in Passing Net Expected Points per drop back.
