Packers sign Ricky Jean-Francois to a one-year deal
The Green Bay Packers signed defensive lineman Ricky Jean-Francois, formerly of the Washington Redskins, to a one-year, $3 million contract.
Jean-Francois hasn't missed a game since 2013 and he should prove to be a solid add for a Green Bay defensive front that trailed off after a hot start last season. Turning 31 in November, Jean-Francois recorded a career-high 32 tackles for Washington last season.
The Packers finished 11th in the league last season in opponent-adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points allowed per play.
