Joffrey Lauvergne lights up as spot starter in Bulls' blowout win

Chicago Bulls forward/center Joffrey Lauvergne started on Wednesday, finishing with 17 points (7-of-13 shooting), 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 three-pointer in 28 minutes.

What It Means:

With Robin Lopez (suspension) and Cristiano Felicio (back) out of commission, the Bulls plugged the hole at center with a whole lot of Lauvergne. It's hard to recommend him after one big game in a blowout, and for now one should assume that Lopez will reclaim the job on Friday. Prior to this game, Lauvergne had scored 17 points combined in March.

Lauvergne's 30.9 FanDuel points were third-most on the Bulls, and his 10.76 nERD was the fourth-best mark on the team.
