Jaguars sign Mychal Rivera to two-year deal

The Jacksonville Jaguars signed tight end Mychal Rivera to a two-year, $6.75 million contract.

What It Means:

The second year of the deal is a team option. Jacksonville is a solid landing spot after moving on from free agent bust Julius Thomas. Rivera could open the season as the Jaguars' top receiving tight end, but is unlikely to have much of a fantasy impact.

Rivera earned 18.32 Reception Net Expected Points on his 25 targets (0.73 per target) in 2016.
