E.J. Manuel to compete for Raiders' third-string job
Oakland Raiders agreed to terms with quarterback E.J. Manuel, formerly of the Buffalo Bills.
A colossal reach by the Bills at 16th overall in the 2013 draft, Manuel busted in kind. He owns a career 58.3 completion percentage while averaging 6.40 yards per attempt with 19 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. Manuel has attempted just 110 passes since the end of the 2014 season, and he'll try to earn Oakland's third-string job behind Derek Carr and Connor Cook.
On just 29 drop backs in 2016, Manuel earned just -0.18 Passing Net Expected Points per drop back.
