Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden was re-signed to a one-year contract.
McFadden supposedly "had interest from elsewhere," according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, but no teams were ever mentioned. He'll be 30 in August and makes for a solid backup behind Ezekiel Elliott.
McFadden rushed only 24 times (3.6 yards per carry) in three games last season due to an arm injury suffered before the season. His -0.05 Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt for the year was last among all Dallas running backs in 2016.
