Bills host free agent Deshawn Shead for workout
The Buffalo Bills are hosting free agent cornerback Deshawn Shead for a free agent visit.
Shead enjoyed a breakout 2016 season, only to tear his left ACL and meniscus in the Divisional Round and fail to receive a restricted free agent tender from the Seattle Seahawks. Before essentially cutting him loose, the Seahawks expressed major concern about the stability of Shead's knee. The Bills are paper thin at corner after letting Stephon Gilmore and Nickell Robey-Coleman go.
The Seahawks' secondary ranked just 15th last season in opponent-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play, but this was more due to injuries in the safety group.
