Free agent Dontari Poe leaves Dolphins without contract
Free agent nose tackle Dontari Poe left his Miami Dolphins visit without a deal.
Poe and his agent very clearly overestimated his market worth. He has visited the 'Phins, Atlanta Falcons, and Indianapolis Colts, and is expected to meet with the Oakland Raiders next. Poe has reportedly settled on asking for one-year offers in an effort to parlay a prove-it season into a bigger contract next offseason.
With Poe anchoring the middle of the line, the Kansas City Chiefs ranked 18th in opponent-adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points per play in 2016.
