Justin Hunter joins Steelers' receiving corps

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed wide receiver Justin Hunter, formerly of the Buffalo Bills.

What It Means:

It's been a disappointing start for Hunter's career after the Titans selected him with the 34rd overall pick in 2013, but there's hardly a better landing spot for the 25-year-old wide receiver. He's averaging 16.7 yards per catch for his career (78 receptions) with 12 touchdowns, so look for Hunter to replace Markus Wheaton as Pittsburgh's primary deep threat.

In 12 games with the Buffalo Bills last season, Hunter managed to find the endzone four times on just 10 catches, contributing to 1.05 Reception Net Expected Points per target -- best in the NFL last season out of the 45 wide receivers to see between 20 and 50 targets.
