Eddie Lacy

Eddie Lacy joins Seattle's backfield on one-year contract

The Seattle Seahawks signed running back Eddie Lacy, formerly of the Green Bay Packers, to a one-year, $5.55 million contract with $3 million fully guaranteed.

What It Means:

It's a solid deal for Lacy, who will make top-ten money at his position next season while having the opportunity to prove his long-term worth. The addition of Lacy is a big blow to the fantasy outlook of Thomas Rawls and it's certainly not a good thing for C.J. Prosise. Adrian Peterson, Jamaal Charles and Latavius Murray will continue looking for work elsewhere.

Among the 60 running backs with at least 70 carries last season, Lacy's 0.08 Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt ranked 10th.
