Adrian Peterson

Adrian Peterson's first visit comes from Seahawks

Free agent running back Adrian Peterson will visit the Seattle Seahawks, CBS' Jason La Canfora reports.

What It Means:

He joins Latavius Murray, Jamaal Charles and Eddie Lacy. It's Peterson's first-known visit. It's progress, but obviously hard to get too excited when he's competing with so many other veteran backs. The 'Hawks seem likely to make a signing, but it stands to reason they would prefer someone younger and less recently injured than Peterson.

There were 88 running backs to notch at least 30 rushing attempts last year. Peterson earned -0.39 Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt, by far the worst rate among that group.
