Terrelle Pryor

Washington adds Terrelle Pryor for one-year, $6 million

Washington signed wide receiver Terrelle Pryor, formerly of the Cleveland Browns, to a one-year, $6 million contract.

What It Means:

Pryor will soak up a lot of the targets left behind by the departures of Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson. It's somewhat surprising Pryor didn't see more offers on the open market, but he'll now have a year to prove his long-term worth before hitting free agency again next season. Kirk Cousins' primary targets figure to be Pryor, Jordan Reed, Jamison Crowder and Josh Doctson, health pending. Pryor projects to be a high-end WR2 with all types of upside in 2017.

Pryor's 0.68 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) per target ranked 23rd among the 41 wide receivers to see at least 100 targets last year.
