Kirk Cousins won't negotiate long-term deal with Washington
Washington franchise-tagged quarterback Kirk Cousins will not negotiate a long-term deal with the team as long as Bruce Allen remains team president, reports CSN Mid-Atlantic's Chick Hernandez.
Cousins understandably doesn't want anything to do with the mess that is Washington's front office. It looks like he'll stick it out for another year, but it seems pretty much guaranteed that Cousins will head elsewhere in free agency next offseason.
Cousins earned the sixth-most Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back among the 39 quarterbacks to drop back at least 100 times in 2016.
