Dontari Poe likely going to settle for one-year deal
Free agent defensive tackle Dontari Poe has a "very good chance" of signing a one-year, prove-it deal, reports Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.
Poe's back problems have caused concern among teams, so he's likely going to have to sign a one-year deal to prove his long-term worth before hitting the market again next year. Atlanta Falcons assistant general manager drafted Poe in Kansas City while with the Chiefs, so they have been mentioned as a possible destination.
The Chiefs finished 10th in opponent-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points allowed per play last season with Poe as the anchor.
