Saints expected to make Brandin Cooks decision Friday
The New Orleans Saints will "make the decision" on Friday on what to do with wide receiver Brandin Cooks, reports Michael Lombardi of The Ringer.
What It Means:
The New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans are believed to be the frontrunners to land Cooks, but Lombardi says other teams "may be in play." New Orleans is said to be asking for a high first-round pick in return, while a swap for Patriots defensive back Malcolm Butler has also been mentioned.
Among the 41 receivers with at least 100 targets in 2016, Cooks tied for the second-most Reception Net Expected Points per target with 0.84.
