Dion Sims signs with Bears for three-years, $18 million
The Chicago Bears signed tight end Dion Sims, formerly of the Miami Dolphins, to a three-year, $18 million contract.
It's a rich deal for a tight end who is more of a blocker than a pass-catcher, but Sims did just turn 26 last month. He will compete with Zach Miller for targets and neither projects to be more than a low-end TE2 in fantasy.
Among the 39 tight ends with at least 35 targets in 2016, Sims ranked 14th in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
