Reshad Jones rewarded with four-year extension from Dolphins
Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones was signed to a four-year extension through 2021.
Jones is now among the league's highest-paid safeties, making $35 million guaranteed on what amounts to a five-year, $60 million contract. He's an elite backstop against the pass, as well as on the ground, and turned 29 last month. A torn rotator cuff cost Jones the final 10 games of 2016, but he's now back at 100 percent.
The Dolphins finished 16th last season in schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points allowed per play.
