The Philadelphia Eagles signed wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, formerly of the Chicago Bears, to a one-year, $14 million contract.
Jeffery will have the opportunity to prove his long-term worth in Philadelphia after missing 11 combined games over the past two seasons due to injury and suspension. It's a great deal for both sides, as the Eagles now give Carson Wentz a much-needed upgrade on the outside. Jeffery turned only 27 last month.
Jeffery ranked 19th in Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) per target among the 60 receivers to see at least 80 targets last season.
