DeSean Jackson agrees to deal with Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers agreed to terms with wide receiver DeSean Jackson, formerly of the Washington Redskins.

What It Means:

Jackson's new deal will be worth more than $10 million per year, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Despite interest from the Philadelphia Eagles and others, the Buccaneers were always considered the favorites to land Jackson. He should excel playing opposite Mike Evans while serving as a deep threat for Jameis Winston, who loves to let it fly.

Among the 60 wide receivers to see at least 80 targets last season, Jackson ranked 16th in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
