Mike Glennon will sign with Bears

The Chicago Bears' deal for free agent quarterback Mike Glennon is "all but done," Ian Rapoport said while appearing on NFL Network's Good Morning Football.

What It Means:

Rapoport said the deal could be finalized by the end of the day and that it's expected to be worth $15 million annually over three years. Expect the Bears to release Jay Cutler sometime in the near future.

In 219 drop backs in 2014, Glennon earned 0.00 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back. The average Passing NEP per drop back that season was 0.10. As a team, Chicago was 21st in Adjusted Offensive Passing NEP per play last season.
