Adrian Peterson

Seahawks not giving much thought to Adrian Peterson

The Seattle Seahawks have "no immediate interest" in free agent running back Adrian Peterson, reports Tom Pelissero of USA Today.

What It Means:

Per Pelissero, the Seahawks likely won't give Peterson serious consideration unless he's still without a team later in the offseason. No one seems to be too keen on Peterson, so it's possible he'll remain unemployed long enough for Seattle to bring him in.

There were 88 running backs to notch at least 30 rushing attempts last year. Peterson earned -0.39 Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt, by far the worst rate among that group.
