DeMarcus Ware opts to test market after meeting with Broncos
Denver Broncos impending free agent linebacker DeMarcus Ware will test the open market, reports Mike Klis of 9News Denver.
There was some belief that Ware would re-up with the Broncos after meeting with general manager John Elway and head coach Vance Joseph on Tuesday, but he's going to at least test the waters before making a decision. The 34-year-old Ware previously mentioned returning to the Dallas Cowboys, where he spent the first nine seasons of his career prior to joining Denver in 2014.
Ware was part of a Broncos front-seven that earned a league-leading -0.17 opponent-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points allowed per play last season.
