Chiefs won't make a play for Cowboys' Tony Romo
The Kansas City Chiefs are not interested in Dallas Cowboys' quarterback Tony Romo, reports NFL Network's James Palmer.
Despite multiple playoff failures due to substandard quarterback play, head coach Andy Reid will continue to ride it out with Alex Smith under center. The Denver Broncos and Houston Texans appear to be the most likely destinations for Romo.
Of the 39 quarterbacks with at least 100 drop backs last season, Smith finished 18th in Passing Net Expected Points per drop back.
