A.J. Bouye expected to remain in AFC South if he leaves Texans
The Houston Chronicle reports Houston Texans impending free agent defensive back A.J. Bouye is likely to remain in the AFC South, reports the Houston Chronicle.
Bouye has been linked to all three teams in the AFC South, in addition to the Chicago Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Browns. The Texans are still hoping to lock up Bouye prior to the new league year starting on Thursday, reports ESPN's Dan Graziano.
Bouye deflected a career-high 16 passes and emerged as one of the league's best corners last season, helping the Texans finish sixth in opponent-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points allowed per play.
