Jack Doyle could see $7 million per year on open market

Indianapolis Colts impending free agent tight end Jack Doyle could command $7 million per year when he hits the open market, suggests The Indianapolis Star.

What It Means:

The Colts would probably be better off keeping Doyle and instead parting ways with Dwayne Allen, but ESPN's Adam Schefter has already said he's going to test his value on the market.

Among the 41 tight ends with at least 30 targets this year, Doyle's 0.57 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) per target was 26th.
