Seahawks say DeShawn Shead (ACL) is doubtful for Week 1
Seattle Seahawks restricted free agent defensive back DeShawn Shead (ACL) isn't expected to be ready for Week 1, according to general manager John Schneider.
What It Means:
Shead tore his left ACL on January 14, likely guaranteeing he will miss the start of next season while subsequently killing his market value as a free agent. He should now be much easier for the Seahawks to retain.
The Seahawks' secondary ranked just 15th last season in opponent-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play.
