Cameron Brate tendered by Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers tendered exclusive rights free agent tight end Cameron Brate.
This was an easy decision for the Buccaneers after Brate's breakout campaign. It's still possible they sign him to a long-term deal, but there has been speculation that the team will bring in another playmaking tight end this offseason.
Among the 35 tight ends to see at least 40 targets last season, Brate was fifth-best in Reception Net Expected Points per target. He recorded 57 catches for 660 yards and 8 touchdowns.
