The Carolina Panthers re-signed defensive lineman Mario Addison to a three-year, $22.5 million contract.
The deal includes $11.5 in guarantees. General manager David Gettleman said Addison was one of the Panthers' two biggest priorities this offseason. He led the team with 9.5 sacks in 2016.
The Panthers finished last season ninth in opponent-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points allowed per play.
