Raiders' Latavius Murray expected to test open market
Oakland Raiders running back Latavius Murray is expected to test the open market, ESPN's Josina Anderson reports.
Per Anderson, "the door will remain open" for a possible return to Oakland, though Murray will obviously explore other options. Murray lost work to rookies DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard last season but still finished among the league leaders with 12 rushing touchdowns.
Murray ranked 12th in Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per attempt this past season, among the 42 running backs with at least 100 rushing attempts in 2016. As a team, the Raiders finished 15th in schedule-adjusted Rushing NEP per play.
