Cowboys' Tony Romo willing to restructure contract to facilitate trade

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is willing to "massage" his contract in order to facilitate a trade, per Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

What It Means:

Romo is going to be forced to restructure his deal if the Cowboys want to receive any sort of trade compensation for the veteran quarterback. Otherwise, he's more than likely going to be released.

The question remains how good Romo will be in what will be his age-37 campaign. In 2015, he tossed -0.04 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back on 127 drop backs, but generated 0.16 Passing NEP per drop back on 684 such plays in 2014.
