Steelers expected to retain Ladarius Green
The Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to retain tight end Ladarius Green for 2017, according to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Despite open concerns from president Art Rooney II about Green's long-term health, Bouchette believes "the decision has been made" to keep him on the roster, and that "[Green's] health will determine what happens from there." The talented 26-year-old was limited to only six games in 2016 due to a combination of concussion and ankle concerns.
Green's Reception Net Expected Points per target ranked fifth among the 43 tight ends to receive at least 30 targets this past year.
