Cardinals believe John Brown's sickle-cell will no longer be an issue
Arizona Cardinals president Michael Bidwill believes the team has solved wide receiver John Brown's sickle-cell issue.
"He is very healthy, looks like they found the issue," Bidwill said. "We’ll get 'Smoke' back the way we had him." Brown only missed one game in 2016, but he was limited throughout the entire season and finished with the least-productive season of his three-year career. If healthy, Brown should be able to return to WR3 status next season.
Among the 74 receivers to see at least 70 targets this past season, Brown ranked 32nd in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
