Eagles expected to trade Mychal Kendricks this offseason
The Philadelphia Eagles are indeed likely to trade linebacker Mychal Kendricks, a source told Philly Voice's Jimmy Kempski.
What It Means:
The source confirms what Kempski speculated late last week. Kendricks saw his role shrink in 2016 under new defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, and he played just 273 snaps across 15 games. If the Eagles can't find a trade partner, then Kendricks may be designated as a post-June 1 cut.
Kendricks was part of an Eagles team that finished fifth in the NFL this past season in opponent-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points allowed per play.
