Eagles interested in trading Mychal Kendricks this offseason
Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Mychal Kendricks will likely be traded, according to Philly Voice's Jimmy Kempski.
Kendricks was perfect for the previous 3-4 scheme in Philadelphia, but he has fallen out of favor under defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz' 4-3 front. After recording 70 tackles in 2015, that number fell all the way to 26 this season -- despite Kendricks playing two additional games. He is due $4.85 million for what will be his age-27 season.
Kendricks was part of a unit that finished fifth in the NFL in opponent-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points allowed per play.
