Bears' Alshon Jeffery is on Eagles' offseason shopping list
According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, "several league sources anticipate" the Philadelphia Eagles making a run at Chicago Bears impending free agent wide receiver Alshon Jeffery.
Jeffery is the best wide receiver on the market and the Eagles have a desperate need for an upgrade at wideout. DeSean Jackson has been mentioned as a candidate to return to Philadelphia, along with Torrey Smith. Providing quarterback Carson Wentz with some weapons on offense is probably a good idea.
Jeffery finished the year ranked 19th in Reception Net Expected Points per target among the 60 receivers to see at least 80 targets. Despite playing three more games than the previous season, Jeffery saw 94 targets for the second consecutive year.
