The Indianapolis Colts released linebacker D'Qwell Jackson.
The move doesn't come as any surprise and the Colts free up $5.5 million in cap space with Jackson off the books. He missed the final four games of 2016 due to a PED suspension and will be 34 by the start of next season. There probably won't be too much demand for the aging Jackson.
Indianapolis finished the year ranked fourth-worst in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points allowed per play.
