Josh Doctson could earn 100 targets for Washington in 2017

Washington wide receiver Josh Doctson could see over 100 targets in 2017, CSN MidAtlantic’s Rich Tandler projects.

What It Means:

Doctson played just two games in his first year in 2016 and was limited the majority of offseason/training camp with an Achilles' issue. This role projection assumes DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon won’t be re-signed. Even if everything breaks right, Doctson figures to open 2017 as the third receiving option behind Jamison Crowder and tight end Jordan Reed.

Doctson earned 4.51 Reception Net Expected Points on six targets in his rookie year.
