James Starks

James Starks released by Packers after seven seasons

The Green Bay Packers released running back James Starks. Starks has been let go with the "non-football injury" designation.

What It Means:

Starks has been let go with the "non-football injury" designation after he missed the final six games of the season due to a concussion suffered in a car accident. He spent the first seven seasons of his career in Green Bay, but turning 31 in a few weeks, Starks won't be at the top of too many team's lists.

Starks finished the season dead-last in Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt, among the 66 backs to see at least 60 carries.
