Giants expected to cut Victor Cruz this offseason
There is a "very strong possibility" that New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is released this offseason, believes James Kratch of NJ Advance Media.
What It Means:
The Giants would save $7.5 million against the cap if they cut ties with Cruz. He's open to taking another pay cut, but his time in New York is likely done.
Among the 56 wide receivers with 25 to 75 targets this year, Cruz's Reception Net Expected Points per target ranked 25th.
