Terrance Williams will likely leave Cowboys in free agency
The Dallas Cowboys are not expected to re-sign wide receiver Terrance Williams, according to ESPN.
Williams is unlikely to be back after fighting for targets behind Dez Bryant, Cole Beasley and Jason Witten most of the last two seasons. A three-plus year starter, Williams is a prime candidate to be overpaid in free agency. Dallas could re-sign Brice Butler to replace Williams' outside role.
Among the 56 receivers to see between 25 and 75 targets, Williams's Reception Net Expected Points per target came in 15th while Butler's was 29th.
