Tony Romo

Texans won't be potential destination for Cowboys' Tony Romo

The Houston Texans are "not a landing spot" for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo this offseason, according to NFL Network'sIan Rapoport.

What It Means:

Brock Osweiler isn't going anywhere, and the team can't afford to pay both him and Romo top dollar. Owner Bob McNair said the team is more likely to rely on the draft for quarterback help.

The question remains how good Romo will be in what will be his age-37 campaign. In 2015, the veteran quarterback tossed -0.04 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back on 127 drop backs, but generated 0.16 Passing NEP per drop back on 684 such plays in 2014.
