Chargers' Travis Benjamin recovering from knee scope
San Diego Chargers wide receiver Travis Benjamin underwent right arthroscopic knee surgery last week.
Benjamin was limited for the majority of 2016 due to the PCL issue, and he finished the season behind Dontrelle Inman in the Chargers' pecking order. With Keenan Allen and Tyrell Williams holding down the starting spots, Benjamin may open next season as the fourth wide receiver on the depth chart.
Benjamin's 0.69 Reception Net Expected Points per target ranked 31st out of the 68 wide receivers with at least 75 targets this season. He caught 47 passes in 14 games, finishing with 677 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns.
