Steelers acknowledge uncertainty with Ladarius Green's future

Pittsburgh Steelers president Art Rooney II expressed uncertainty about tight end Ladarius Green's future with the team while speaking on Tuesday.

What It Means:

Rooney said there are unsettled "physical conditions" that need to be figured out in order to make a decision on bringing Green back. He's an incredibly talented tight end, but concussions and injuries plagued his first -- and possibly only -- year in Pittsburgh. Turning 27 in May, Green played in six games this year, and finished with 18 catches for 304 yards while finding the endzone just once.

Green's Reception Net Expected Points per target ranked fifth among the 43 tight ends to receive at least 30 targets this year.
