Rams' 2016 season was a nightmare for Todd Gurley
Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley called his 2016 season a "nightmare" in an interview with NFL Network's Rich Eisen.
"It was definitely a tough year, a learning experience for me," said Gurley. "To be 4-12 this year? I don't want to feel that feeling again." Gurley famously called the Rams a "middle-school offense" after getting blown out in Week 14. The 22-year-old was the talk of the NFL after his breakout rookie season but imploded behind a porous offensive line in 2016.
Gurley had the sixth-lowest Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt among the 42 running backs with at least 100 carries this season.
