Eagles' Carson Wentz to train with quarterback guru
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz will train with guru Adam Dedeaux this offseason.
What It Means:
Dedeaux is a former minor league pitcher who recently took over Tom House's company. House worked with some of the game's top quarterbacks, including Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Carson Palmer and Matt Ryan. Wentz's mechanics deteriorated over the course of his rookie season, resulting in an uptick in turnovers.
Wentz threw 14 interceptions over the final 13 weeks of the season. Among the 39 quarterbacks with at least 100 drop backs, he ranked 25th in Passing Net Expected Points per drop back.
