Green Bay Packers offensive guard T.J. Lang will undergo foot and hip arthroscopic surgeries on Friday.
These "scopes" are minor procedures that should have zero-to-minimal effect on Lang's availability for the offseason. Lang expressed a desire to re-sign with the Packers following their loss on Sunday, and he will be entering his age-30 campaign after grading out as Pro Football Focus' sixth-best right guard in the regular season.
Despite the motley crew of running backs the Packers pieced together in 2016, the team as a whole ranked seventh-best in opponent-adjusted Offensive Rushing Net Expected Points per play. This was largely due to a great offensive line performance.
