Green Bay Packers cornerback Sam Shields (concussion) said he's still having occasional headaches.
Shields suffered his second concussion in a calendar year back in Week 1 and ended up missing the rest of the season. It's a major concern, but Shields said he still wants to play. "I’m thinking it’s not over. I’ve still got more in me," Shields said. "I just love the game, man, and I feel that I can get back out there and play." The Packers are expected to explore cutting Shields this offseason.
The Packers' secondary ranked 10th-worst in opponent-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play in 2016.
