Patriots could get Malcolm Mitchell (knee) back for AFC title game
New England Patriots wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell's (knee, questionable) availability is "trending in the right direction" for Sunday's matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers, says ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss.
Mitchell hasn't played since Week 16, but he appears to be doing much better than last week, when Reiss says "it was clear" the receiver wouldn't be able to play. Chris Hogan (thigh) isn't 100 percent and Michael Floyd struggled in the Divisional Round, so Mitchell could see decent volume on Sunday if he does suit up.
Mitchell comes in 13th among wideouts for the Conference Championship Round, according to our metrics, who project him to catch 2 passes for 26 receiving yards and 0.17 touchdowns.
