Jets' Brandon Marshall is not open to a pay cut

New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall said he's not open to taking a pay cut.

What It Means:

Marshall is due $7.5 million coming off one of his worst seasons, but was saddled with horrid talent under center. With none of his salary guaranteed, the Jets will either keep Marshall or move on from him.

Among the 41 receivers with at least 100 targets in 2016, Marshall's Reception Net Expected Points per target of 0.58 ranked sixth-worst. He also struggled to find the end zone, scoring just three times after turning in 45 combined touchdowns over the previous four season.
