A.J. Bouye wants to re-sign with the Texans in 2017
Houston Texans cornerback A.J. Bouye said he wants to re-sign with the Texans.
Bouye, 25, opened the summer as the Texans' fourth-best corner but elevated his play to the point he was Houston's best by season's end. He was Pro Football Focus' sixth-best cover corner out of 120 qualifiers, allowing just two touchdowns and breaking up 11 passes. With youth on his side, Bouye is arguably the top impending free agent corner set to hit the market.
The Texans came in sixth in opponent-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play in 2016.
